Avery Dennison’s Graphics and Reflective-Products Div. (Painesville, OH) is unveiling its Design 66 Challenge, which invites vehicle-wrap designers to create the vehicle design for Steve Wallace’s Number 66 Nationwide Series racecar. The contest will run through August 13th, and the winning designer will be an honorary member of the Team Wallace pit crew for the season’s final race on November 20 in Homestead, FL to see their winning wrap, which will be fabricated using Avery’s MPI 1005 Supercast media, in action.

Submissions – contestants may present unlimited designs — may be posted at www.supercastmyride.com, where sample designs and the Adobe Photoshop design template, as well as rules and prize information, are available. The Photoshop template may be downloaded from there, and designs can be submitted as JPEGs. All submissions will be rendered as 3-D models. Competitors are encouraged to use Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter to garner votes for their submissions. The top 10 vote-getters from the website will be submitted to Rusty Wallace Racing and 5-Hour Energy, which select first-, second- and third-place designs.
