The State of CA has been pushing diesels off the road. The value of these types of trucks is raising fast because these are one of the very few options that aren't going to cost 50k. Here's a sound, capable truck that's inexpensive, easy to work on with excellent parts availability and low DMV fees that will get the job done.

UTILITY BED: 18-foot flat bed with new deck. Headache rack and over cab frame. Oxy/Acetylene bottle well in bed. Toolboxes hung under so the flat bed has the ability to haul freight (like signs).  Has 4 manual outriggers that are tube & pin and slide out.

CRANE: The Crane is a 76 Junior Goliath column Crane, shortened to 60 and running off optional Tube Rollers (better than brass bearings). The tubes are Chrome-Moly steel (Strong and “light”). Hydraulic boom raise ram (uprated from Saginaw).  The extension is cable and has a lock for lifting. The rotation is a full 360 degrees powered by a worm gear drive off electric motor. The one-man basket has a manual level brake and lock. It has a load line, driven off 1.3 HP electric motor and has a manual override brake. The whole thing is powered off a Miller Blue Charger (specialized Miller Legend - Stick weld or charge). Garland was made in Longbeach. All the parts are standard industrial stuff. Easy to maintain or replace if anything is needed. There are a lot of these cranes out there.  These cranes last forever.
