Why your illustrations need to be simpler
Illustrations that appear to showcase too many elements within them seem cramped up and that often repels viewers away from the illustration instead of engaging them and increasing their interests. Apart from that, simpler illustrations easily focus on their narratives rather than being all over the place. Several kid illustrators focus on keeping their illustrations simple and to the point to complement the narratives of the stories. The simpler the illustration is the easier it is going to be for the viewer to understand what they artist is trying to convey. Do you think there are any other reasons to create simpler illustrations?
