Fluorescent lights and old neon tube disposal options
What should I do with my old mercury neon tubes or Fluorescent lights that no longer work? I've thought of purchasing a Bulb Eater ($3500 plus filters and drums, etc.) or just storing the bulbs and then paying a local company to pick them up but they charge $0.13/ft. Does anyone have any other ideas? On average we dispose of approx. 50-100 straight bulbs per month (T8 or T12).
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
