Visual & Print Technology Week

The Graphics Communication Workforce Coalition (GCWC) has announced Visual & Print Technology Week, scheduled for Jan. 18-22, 2021. According to the coalition, the week is highlighted as "an opportunity to communicate to students and the workforce the value of graphic technologies and the wide opportunity for career development within the industry."

Per its website, GCWC is a collection of concerned associations, educators and industry representatives who have combined efforts to represent the broad scope of the graphic communications industry. Its goals include providing a framework for apprenticeship and training programs, recruiting new people into the industry and retaining the existing workforce.
