SloanLED (Ventura, CA) is launching its SignBOXTM RapidStickTM kit for retrofitting fluorescent-sign cabinets. The system can be used with single- or double-sided cabinets and provides even 360° illumination. Installation utilizes existing sockets. The resulting cabinet-light efficiency will average 130 lm/W and extends the lighting product’s life, the company reports. Compatible with the SloanLED 24 VDC 100-watt power supply, the system is available in three lengths: 48, 72, and 96 in., with additional lengths available in the near future. It’s UL and cUL recognized and ROHS and WEEE compliant, the company adds.
