The Ft. Myers (FL) Police Dept. and Stay Alive Just Drive (SAJD), an organization that promotes traffic safety, recently hired Signs Now’s Ft. Myers location to produce a vehicle wrap that advertises the dangers of driving while distracted.

The Signs Now shop produced the wrap, which covers a 2000 Ford F-150 truck, using 3M’s IJ-180C v3 air-egress film with 8518 glossy overlaminate for the vehicle’s body. Window decoration entailed 3M’s IJ-8171 perforated film with 8914 clear laminate. The shop printed the program on a Mimaki JV-3 solvent-ink printer.
Ft. Myers’ PD and SAJD plan to travel to schools to teach high-school students the importance of paying attention and driving safely. The vehicle has been featured on “Welcome to the Fast Lane,” the official blog of the U.S. DOT.
