Roland DGA Corp. (Irvine, CA) is introducing upgraded vise fixtures for its MPX-80/90 impact printers and EGX-360 gift engravers. According to the company, the fixtures enhance the equipment by expanding the range of items that may be engraved. The fixtures include a 10-pin jig, a pen fixture and medallion/seal fixtures. Each vise fits on the existing vises and fixtures quickly secure materials. The impact printers apply text, photos and logos and metal and acrylic items for such items as jewelry, key chains and pens, while the EGX-360 engraver decorates flat, curved, domed or irregular surfaces on such materials as glass, acrylic, wood and metals, among others.
