Paradigm Imaging Group (Costa Mesa, CA) is debuting its scanner/printer combination. The 36-in.-wide system comprises a SK280 scanner, which was previously only available on the Supra EIS system, and the, and a Canon iPF710 imagePROGRAF printer. Scanner features include scan speeds up to 6 in. per second in grayscale and black-and-white or 2 in. per second in color @ 400 dpi; maximum resolution of 600 true-optical dpi or 1,200 dpi interpolated; and, a power-saving mode that reduces power consumption to 5W or less.

The printer offers five-color, dye-pigment, reactive-ink technology, on-board support for HP-GL/2 and HP RTL files, and provides full-bleed posters, clear text document and crisp line drawings quickly and easily, the company reports.
