ISA Names 2016 Board, Appoints Mattatall President

The International Sign Assn. (ISA), Alexandria, VA, has announced its Board of Directors for 2016. Robert Mattatall, president of Mattatall Signs (Dartmouth, NS, Canada), becomes the board’s chairman, and is the first Canadian to fill the post in approximately two decades.
The remaining Executive Committee comprises Vice Chairman Jeff Young, from Young Electric Sign Co. (Salt Lake City, UT); Secretary/Treasurer Mark Granberry, of Graphic Solutions Group (Dallas); and Immediate Past Chair Chris Flejtuch, from Quality Quick Signs (Depew, NY).
“The 2016 ISA Board of Directors is one of the most experienced in ISA history,” Lori Anderson, ISA president and CEO, said. “They have a keen understanding of our industry, and the experience and insight to guide ISA in better serving our member companies and helping them grow their businesses.”
The ISA’s board include representatives from three ISA-membership areas: the Affiliated Associations Council, which represents local and custom sign companies that join one of ISA’s affiliated associations that operate at a state or regional level; the Direct Member Council, which serves national sign companies that join ISA directly; and the Suppliers/Distributors Council, which encompasses members that supply or distribute industry-related products. Additionally, the board maintains two at-large, unrestricted seats.
