SR Series processes plastics, sheet metals, other rigid media

Haas Automation (Oxnard, CA) is unveiling its SR series, gantry-style sheet routers, which includes the SR-100, which offers a 100 x 52-in., 8-in. deep working area, and the SR-200, which provides a 148 x 76-in. work surface with equal depth. Both machines receive ISO-standard, G-code input. Each machine includes a 24,000-rpm, contiuous-5-hp, 30-taper spindle that cuts and drills various plastics, sheet metals and other light, rigid substrates. Standard features include a brushless servo motor, and 15-in. LCD monitor and USB port, and such options as a 10-pocket, automatic tool changer, a hard-disc drive with Ethernet interface and fourth-axis capability are available.
