Designated Parking Corp. Asphalt Anchors

Can be removed and reinstalled

Published

on

Asphalt Anchors Group, a division of Designated Parking Corp. (West Orange, NJ), is releasing a line of anchors designed for use in asphalt with minimal surface damage. The company says, “unlike with common hammer-in spikes, the attached structures can be removed and reinstalled at will without disturbing the anchors.”

The 14-in.-long anchors have a 5/8-in. diameter. An SP14F model has an internal, 3/8-in. thread to accommodate mounting bolts. A metric, SP14 model is also available. When a bolt-and-nut mounting is needed, the company recommends the MSP14 anchor, which has a 3/8-in. male thread that is 1 ½ in. long.
