BroadSign Intl (Montreal) has been selected by Adissy (Moscow), one of Russia’s largest digital-signage integrators and distributors, to providee software for managing digital screens in more than 500 Rigla pharmacies across Russia. The chain-wide deployment will start with a 10-store pilot that will be used to optimize network setup and validate content strategy.
Depending on the size of location, each Rigla pharmacy will be equipped with two to eight screens ranging from 24 to 42 in.
According to Alexander Pivovarov, CEO of Adissy, the 3.5-minute-long content loop will comprise 10-25-second spots that will advertise the pharmaceutical products available in the store as well as announce internal promotions or sales. Rigla will handle advertising sales while Adissy will operate the network. Adissy is using AOpen media players for this deployment.
Rigla has been expanding rapidly in recent years, acquiring existing pharmacy chains and building new stores throughout Russia.
