Judges agreed that this relatively simple sign attractively, and effectively, identified the property. Gordon fabricated this 6-ft.-tall, 15 ft. 4-in.-long sign from ¼-in.-thick aluminum. Flexible Sloan LED tubing installed within the sign’s recessed channel provides illumination. Gordon waterjet-cut the letters out of the face and backed them with white, 3⁄16-in.-thick, Plexiglas® acrylic decorated by 3M dual-color film. To render the colored swooshes, the shop created internally illuminated, digitally printed, clear-plastic faces produced on its Seiko 64 printer.

GableSigns provided curb appeal for this business park thanks to this 6 x 18-ft. monument sign that comprises fabricated aluminum with inset reveals, and brick veneer and block over cement board on a steel support structure. Front and halo lighting enliven the translucent primary letters; the secondary, solid-aluminum channel letters employ backlighting.

Your Space Storage

Residents and visitors to Joppatown, MD likely recall this storage facility more readily than its competitors thanks to GableSigns’ unique entry solution. The double-faced pylon measures 17 x 9.5 ft. at its base and tapers to 8 x 5 ft. at the shackle’s apex. The sign features routed-aluminum graphics backed with white acrylic; exposed, sparkling-blue, neon accents around the lock and claps; and a 6-ft.-wide Daktronics LED display. GableSigns designed the masonry base to mimic the building’s architecture.
