Contrary to what some might think, the headline isn’t meant as an offensive slur. All human rights should be applied equally to humankind.

Rather, this column addresses white light, which is actually more complicated than one might think. Backlighting acrylics and digital prints, and providing artificial interior lighting with cold cathode or fluorescents, has many similarities.
