3M Graphics Market Center (St. Paul, MN) is presenting Scotchcal™ film with Comply™ v3 adhesive IJ-170Cv3, an economical, cast-vinyl solution with pressure-sensitive, air-release adhesive. Designed for solvent or UV-cure inks, the company intends the 2-mil film for vehicle and watercraft wraps and graphics. According to the company, the film offers strong initial adhesive, a pigmented adhesive that facilities concealing, and eight-year durability.

3M Graphics Market Center is also disclosing its roster of OEM piezo inkjet printer and ink combinations that it certifies for the 3M Performance Guarantee for the company’s Controltac, Scotchcal and Scotchlite films. Additions to the list include:

• EFI™ VUTEk® QS3200r with QSr UV inks;

• HP Designjet H35000/H45000 series with HP 788 UV inks;

• HP Designjet L65500 with HP 786 Latex inks;

• Roland® SOLJET Pro III with ECO-SOL MAX solvent inks; and

• Seiko ColorPainter™ H74S and H104S with EGO-EX solvent inks
