Trotec Laser Inc. (Plymouth, MI) announced that the company is opening a new regional service and support center in Miami. The new facility will be equipped with lasers, materials and accessories to be used for individual laser demonstrations, educational workshops, and materials testing.

The grand opening will be held concurrently with the company’s “Third Thursday” educational workshop on Nov. 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Eastern. Held at various Trotec locations on the third Thursday of every month, the workshop series is designed to provide training on laser technology, and to promote an understanding of how lasers can add value to a business, according to the company.

The new service and support center in Miami will house high-speed, CO2 flatbed laser cutting and engraving systems, fiber-laser marking systems, and systems featuring Trotec’s flexx laser technology, which combines a CO2 laser for cutting and engraving a wide variety of materials with a fiber laser for marking plastics and metals.
