Roland DGA (Irvine, CA) has introduced the expansion of its TrueVIS Value-Up Program to include TrueVIS SG series models, in addition to the already-eligible VG series.

SG and VG customers may download free firmware updates that will permit their machines to run with the new TR2 second-generation inks.

Starting in February 2021, first-generation TR inks will no longer be available from Roland DGA. The company has encouraged users to complete their “Value-Up” by January 2021. Performing this simple upgrade will allow owners of our first-generation SG and VG models to reap the benefits of our new TR2 inks as well as many of the advanced capabilities of our next-generation TrueVIS SG2 and VG2 printer/cutters,  said Daniel Valade, Roland DGA’s product manager of digital print.
