The 2018 NSSA Northeast Sign Expo was held Sept. 20-21 at the Connecticut Convention Center (Hartford, CT). The show involved two days of an exhibit expo, educational seminars, association meetings and a party for all involved on the first evening. Signs of the Times was a proud sponsor of, and exhibitor at this show.

The expo featured 71 companies exhibiting their products and services, spanning the range from substrate manufacturers to digital suppliers to crane trucks and more. The exhibit hall also featured ISA-styled “Lounge and Learn” presentations. The seminars covered topics including graphics (on fabric, outdoors, SEG); hiring, managing and motivating; sales, asset protection and more.

And in addition to the NSSA’s annual meeting, the association welcomed its 2018 Class of the NSSA Elite Program — intended to recognize young sign industry professionals and to offer educational and networking opportunities to help them further develop their leadership potential.

The NSSA (Northeast States Sign Association (Warwick, RI) is the International Sign Association’s (ISA; Alexandria, VA) affiliated association for the northeast. This was the second consecutive year the event was held in Hartford.
