This porcelain enamel, Art Deco neon sign is the latest addition to the American Sign Museum. Per museum founder Tod Swormstedt, the majority of the neon within “Roby’s Nite Club” is still intact by virtue of the cage-like wire mesh panels that are wingnut-mounted in front of each of the faces of the projecting sign. The sign – which will be restored and hails from Toledo, OH – was acquired by the museum during a recent visit to the Antique Advertising Show at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
