Mattatall Signs Transitions to Second Generation

The Nova Scotia sign company is entering its 40th year in business.

Mattatall Signs Limited, (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada) announced a transition in business ownership and management. Company founder Robert Mattatall (Bob), who has been at the helm since its inception, will be moving into semi-retirement.

Bob’s role will transition from president to CEO, which will largely be an advisory role to the new company executive. Justin Boudreau will move from the role of director to president. Justin has a strong analytical and business background and has been part of the MSL leadership team for the past eight years. Bob’s son, Rob, will transition from a key account executive to vice president. Rob will oversee the operations side of the business moving forward alongside long-time manager John Gammon, who is planning to retire in 2019.

Mattatall Signs employs roughly 30 Nova Scotians at their 24,0000-sq.-ft. production facility in Burnside. Now entering their 40th year, Mattatall Signs is focused on the production and installation of commercial signage. For more information, visit mattatall.com.
