The American Sign Museum (Cincinnati) remains closed, as it was not one of the businesses eligible to re-open under Ohio Governor Mike DeWine’s plan for the phased-restarting of the state’s economy that began on May 1. And under the “Stay Safe Ohio Order” – essentially a renewal of Ohio’s stay-at-home order that expired in late April – establishments like the Sign Museum must remain closed through at least May 29.

The Sign Museum, which has been closed since mid-March, has continued to create digital content to entertain and educate its patrons, with the available features including virtual tours and “Tod Talks,” in which founder Tod Swormstedt details the stories of the museum’s signs. The Sign Museum’s online content can be found at americansignmuseum.org, where fans can also donate to support the museum.
