Roland DGA Corp. (Irvine, CA) has announced the availability of its new VersaWorks 6 RIP and print management software.

This technology, designed for Roland’s inkjet printers and printer/cutters, has a variety of features intended to streamline printing processes, like improved functionality, ink output and media use. VersaWorks 6 also has a new HARLEQUIN RIP dual-core engine and other improvements that increase the overall performance and ease of use.

According to Roland, “VersaWorks 6 provides 64-bit native support to maximize performance from the latest 64-bit operating systems,” while improving the processing of multifaceted data like vector images and multiple-layered files. “This updated software incorporates several enhancements that make our inkjets even more simple to operate, while also optimizing the accuracy, efficiency and reliability of the entire digital printing process,” said Roland DGA Manager of Product Management Brian Brooks.
