ISA to Offer Vehicle Wrap Programs at Sign Expo

The International Sign Association (ISA; Fairfax, VA) announced The ISA Wrap Experience in partnership with Justin Pate, The Wrap Institute, and Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions, which will bring together wrap experts and novices for a competitive and instructional and experience, according to ISA. The event, part of the Never Stop Learning™ education program by the Wrap Institute, debuts at the ISA International Sign Expo 2019 in Las Vegas.

Pate, widely regarded as an expert in vehicle wraps, will moderate three instructors who will train teams in wrap skills. This  competition includes hand-on learning about material selection, application and finishing techniques. At the end of each round, the group will be judged on the quality of wrap and knowledge while the instructor will be judged on the quality of teaching. Prizes also will be awarded at the end of each day.

This event is an ideal way to incorporate learning with a little friendly competition,” said Craig Campbell, director of strategic initiatives for the International Sign Association. “Whether a participant has never held a squeegee or is creating wrap masterpieces already, they will pick up tips and techniques to grow their business in this area.”

Instructors will train in groups of three; a total of 27 spots daily are available for this extremely limited opportunity. The training sessions will last 90 minutes, allowing participants plenty of time to explore the other products and events available at ISA Expo. Additionally, Pate and John Duever, president of Vinyl Images & Design (Fenton, MO), will present a day-long Business Boot Camp for Wrap Professionals, sponsored by Avery Dennison as part of ISA Sign Expo 2019’s pre-conference workshops. Learn more about this event at signexpo.org/education.

Pre-conference events, including the Boot Camp for Wrap Professionals, will be held Tuesday, April 23, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. ISA International Sign Expo 2019 tradeshow and the ISA Wrap Experience opens the next day, Wednesday, April 24, and runs through April 26.
